"There is nothing permanent except change." --Heraclitus

Someone told me once that I don't like change. That isn't totally correct. I like good changes, I just have a hard time with changes that don't make sense, or mess with my timetable of how and when events are supposed to happen.
Children growing and learning, is a good change, until they come to the knowledge that they are independent thinkers and can make their own decisions--not an easy change. Moving from state to state is a good change, until you miss those people that have been so much a part of your life for so long. Graduation for my children is a good change, until it comes time for me to leave them alone in the hard, cruel world, then it is a hard change. Change in scenery is good for the heart and soul, until you come back and find that the laundry pile has grown.
Realizing that change is good, the Lord helps us. He allows for challenges and growth opportunities. The Lord has decided that with the changing of our home life, Howard needed more opportunities for growth. Howard has been made the Second Counselor in our Bishopric. What a wonderful change for our family.

Wow! (You'll have to remind me who the Bishop is...can't remember things since you split). That is wonderful for you guys and Howard will be so great.
Our Bishop is Thomas L. Badstubner, the other counselor is Greg Moessing and John Truscott is the Exec. Secretary.
so...your checklist is a life-long one? hehe. ;)
