Those lazy, crazy days of summer.

Things we have learned this past week:
Ten year old girls + messy hair + scissors = a well trained beautician who can turn a self-styled, bad hair cut, into a cute cut.
Rub on pork spareribs, then slow grilling (for four hours), produces a great treat!
If you buy an inflatable pool for your child and put it up, it will inevitably rain all afternoon.
When you loan you child a vehicle, you need to be clear on the time of return, no assumptions can be made.
If you give you spouse a red, saucy meal, while they are wearing white, it will wind up on the white article of clothing.
Lawn mowers and teen age boys are like oil and vinegar, when mixed together they are wonderful, but it takes a lot of mixing to blend them together.
Chipmunks will do whatever it takes to eat strawberries from your strawberry patch.
Fifteen year old boys don't understand the need to have other interests beyond an internet computer game in their life.
It is hard to let go of your children's childhood.

wow! amazing how much older you are Mik! Glasses, braces, great hair! you're practically a beehive! :) As for the rest, sounds like summer has started just about right. are you sure it's the rodents getting the strawberries?....
