Mikaela was dying to do a family activity. She put together a Family Scavenger Hunt. We had a few phone calls from extended family members and a phone call from Siovhan that delayed the hunt. The boys complained that they didn't want to do something that a ten-year-old sister had put together. After being encouraged to participate, or lose the cell-phones for a day, they relented and took part. I was surprised at how much time she had put into the hunt. She had good clues and we had to find the item that was being described. (The clues were descriptions of the items, not telling you what the actual item was.) Howard, Ben and Braden really got into the hunt and made it like The Amazing Race. They were running all around our house looking for the clues and items, putting the items in the bag and then running past each other to find the other clues and items. It was fun. The boys ended up laughing and congratulating Mikaela on a fun ending to their day.
Good job Mikaela!

What a great activity and you didn't have to do a thing (unless you count the cell phone threat) lol
