Ben woke up this morning with a fever and a sore throat. I will be taking him to the Doctor to make sure it isn't strep. It has been nice to not have him sick for a while. When he was younger, he was sick every month, sometimes gravely sick. He made the comment that he hadn't been this sick in a long time and he remembers how much he hates it. We all had the flu shot last December, but since the virus strain was a different one, most of Massachusetts has had the flu. Half of our congregation was missing on Sunday, due to the flu and stomach flu. Poor Ben. I hope he will be able to try out for tennis, he has been practicing so hard for it.
